I stayed at the Mountainside Lodge a couple of times growing up. It’s also a great hotel for children. There is lots of space to share, and a family of six can comfortably fit if you purchase a suite.

Whistler is divided into two locations. Whistler Creekside is the old village of Whistler before it became what we know today. It’s a much quieter location to stay in comparison to being in the main village of Whistler.

You can ski from Whistler Creekside. There’s a gondola that will take you up to Whistler Mountain.

From Creekside Village, you’ll want to be at the Sarajevo Drive bus stop heading towards Whistler Village or “To Village.” It will take approximately 15 minutes, or if you’re counting, 11 stops to get to Whistler Village.

You’ll want to get off at Gondola Transit Exchange Post 3, which will take you to close the base of the Whistler Village Gondola Lift.

From Whistler, you’ll want to get on the bus at the Gondola Transit Exchange Post 2 bus stop heading towards “Spring Creek.” And again, 11 stops back. Then get off at Sarajevo Drive.

Bus Fare
